Live-In Cook

Responsibilities:

• Prepare fresh, nutritious, and well-balanced meals for the household.
• Plan meals with consideration for healthy eating and dietary preferences.
• Prepare a variety of Nigerian dishes, soups, and meals.
• Prepare basic continental dishes.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Properly store food items and monitor kitchen supplies.
• Assist with grocery shopping and meal planning when required.
• Keep the kitchen, cooking utensils, and work areas clean and organised.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties when required.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and hygienic home environment.
• Handle household responsibilities with discretion and professionalism.
• Follow instructions and adapt to the preferences of the household.

Requirements:

• Female, preferably mature and responsible.
• Previous experience working as a cook in a private home or similar setting.
• Good knowledge of healthy cooking and nutritious meal preparation.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of Nigerian meals and soups.
• Ability to prepare basic continental dishes.
• Must be clean, hygienic, organised, and detail-oriented.
• Must be willing and able to assist with housekeeping duties.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Trustworthy, respectful, patient, and reliable.
• Must be comfortable with a live-in arrangement.
• References from previous employers will be an added advantage.
