Responsibilities
Review contract documentation and draft contracts
Give advice & opinion on legal issues bearing in mind the company’s activities (Sales & Services of Diesel Generators)
Give advice and opinion on Property & Warehousing issues
Draft letters & responses to parties in transactions with John Holt Plc., Service & other units.
Represent Legal Unit in meetings & prepare monthly report
Liaise with external solicitors on cases in court
Filing of statutory reports to relevant authorities
Assist the Company Secretary in other deem fit and any other assignment assigned to him.
Requirements
Minimum second class degree in law
5+ years post qualification experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and an ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Strong analytical skills with attention to details
A proactive approach to risk management and problem solving
Good client relationship and ability to work confidently, independently & interact at all levels of the organization.
Relationship management skills & openness to feedback.
