Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead site surveys and prepare implementation designs, rack layouts, network diagrams, cable schedules and delivery sequences.
- Coordinate server, storage, network, cybersecurity, cabling, power, cooling, video and hybrid-cloud workstreams.
- Review equipment compatibility, licensing, installation dependencies and procurement requirements.
- Manage schedules, risks, changes, defects and progress reporting while supervising installation quality.
- Lead commissioning, failover, recovery and performance tests against agreed acceptance criteria.
- Deliver as-built documentation, knowledge transfer, maintenance plans and vendor escalation arrangements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of infrastructure experience, including 3 years leading enterprise deployments.
- Proven delivery of complex infrastructure projects involving multiple technical disciplines.
- Hands-on understanding of enterprise systems, networking, security, power dependencies and service continuity.
- Strong team leadership, technical documentation, stakeholder communication and issue resolution.
