the Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guests' laundry, hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other washable items are properly collected, washed, dried, ironed, folded, and stored in accordance with the hotel's standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Must be flexible to function in house keeping when need be.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, and separate dirty laundry according to colour, fabric type, and washing requirements.
- Wash, rinse, dry, iron, fold, and arrange bed sheets, pillowcases, towels, blankets, staff uniforms, and other hotel laundry items.
- Handle guests' personal laundry carefully and ensure that items are properly identified to prevent mix-ups or loss.
- Inspect laundry items for stains, tears, damage, or missing buttons before and after washing.
- Apply appropriate stain-removal techniques and use detergents and other laundry products correctly
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear the required work uniform.
- Follow the hotel's hygiene, sanitation, infection prevention, and workplace safety procedures.
- Use cleaning chemicals and laundry products according to instructions and safety requirements.
- Avoid mixing chemicals that may produce harmful fumes or reactions
Requirements:
- A minimum of an SSCE
