Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Gather soiled linens, terry, and uniforms from rooms or carts, sorting them by color, fabric type, size, and soil level.
- Apply proper chemical solutions to pre-treat stains and load commercial washing machines following sanitation standards.
- Transfer items to commercial dryers, fold finished towels and sheets, and press or iron uniforms and specialty linens.
- Track and manage inventory for detergents, bleach, fabric softeners, laundry bags, and sewing supplies.
- Clean lint traps daily, maintain washing/drying machines, and report mechanical malfunctions to management.
- Sweep and mop laundry room floors, store clean linens off the floor, and keep storage areas organized.
- Process individual guest laundry or dry-cleaning requests, create tracking tags, and handle lost-and-found items according to hotel policy.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- A minimum of SSCE
