Laboratory Assistant ( Cambridge school)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laboratory Assistant at the NTIC Cambridge school branch located in Abuja. The Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control of laboratory processes, assisting with experiments and demonstrations, managing and organizing laboratory materials, and ensuring a safe working environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Collaboration with teachers and students to support the curriculum will also be expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and handling Laboratory Equipment
• Strong understanding of Quality Control and Analytical Skills
• Effective Communication skills to coordinate with staff and students
• Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and dedication to maintaining safety standards
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in laboratory science or a related field
• Prior experience in a laboratory setting is an advantage
• Knowledge of best practices in laboratory safety and hygiene
