Job summary
Shaqspace Restaurant is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Kitchen Manager / Chef to oversee kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food production. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent culinary expertise, and the ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and food production
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
- Supervise, train, and manage kitchen staff
- Plan and manage menu execution and food preparation processes
- Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards
- Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Conduct quality checks on meals before service
- Collaborate with management on menu improvements and costing
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Chef
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to work in Lekki Phase 1

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 Monthly
Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Off Day: 1 Day Weekly
