We are seeking to hire for the role of a Kitchen Assistant
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients.
- Assist with stock handling and inventory management.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000
