Job summary
The kitchen assistant at Korede Spaghetti is responsible for planning, preparing, and assisting the chef in making high-quality meals that reflect the restaurant’s culinary standards and style.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and present a diverse menu of dishes that meet Remi Bistro’s quality and aesthetic standards.
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
- Train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high performance and discipline.
- Design and update seasonal or special menus in collaboration with management.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate timely procurement of ingredients.
- Control food costs, reduce waste, and optimise kitchen operations for profitability.
- Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet consistent portion sizes, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with service staff to ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience
- Culinary training
Work Schedule:
- Surulere, 8 am to 10 pm Monday to Saturday (Sunday is a fix day off)
- Yaba: Shift, 8 am to 4:30 pm, 1:30 pm to 10 pm (5 days on 2 days off) Monday to Sunday
- Gbagada: 8 am to 8 pm (5 days on 1 day), Monday to Sunday
Location: Gbagada, Surulere, Yaba
Remuneration: NGN 70,000
