Kitchen Assistant
Job summary
We are seeking a reliable and hygienic Cook/Kitchen Assistant to prepare healthy meals and beverages according to company recipes. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, ingredient management, and maintaining high food safety standards.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cold chicken sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken salads, smoothies, and other menu items according to company recipes.
- Follow portion control and food presentation standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
- Properly store ingredients and monitor the freshness of food items.
- Assist with inventory management and report low stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support the introduction of new menu items as the business expands.
Requirements:
Female preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a kitchen, restaurant, café, fast-food outlet, or similar food service environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen safety.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency.
- Good personal hygiene, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Ayobo or surrounding areas.
- Punctual and professional attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and food products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with experience preparing healthy meals, salads, sandwiches, or smoothies will have an added advantage.
Location: Ayobo, Lagos.
Remuneration: NGN 80,000
Work mode: Full-Time (Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
