Kitchen/Event Catering Manager
Job summary
We are currently seeking a Kitchen/Event Catering Manager who will oversee kitchen operations, manage catering logistics, and lead the execution of events. If you are organized, passionate about food, and experienced in both kitchen and event management, we would love to hear from you.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring quality control, food safety, and timely meal preparation
- Lead kitchen staff in recipe execution, portioning, and plating standards
- Manage inventory, food costing, and kitchen equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with the CEO on menu development and seasonal offerings
- Coordinate end-to-end planning and execution of catering events (small to large scale)
- Supervise catering teams on- and off-site to ensure professional service delivery
- Serve as the main point of contact at events, ensuring smooth setup, service, and breakdown
- Prepare event checklists, staff rosters, logistics timelines, and ensure all materials are transported and ready for each event
- Maintain communication with clients pre- and post-event to confirm expectations and gather feedback
- Ensure all staff represent the SavoryMealsByAdetutu brand with professionalism and excellence at every event
Requirements:
- OND in any field of study
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
