Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate key stage 1 (KS1) & key stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to children aged 5-11 years, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to promote academic growth.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student learning and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and progress.
  • Conducts formative and summative assessments in a very effective and efficient manner.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to school policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring a consistent and respectful approach to discipline and behaviour management.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of an HND in education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
