Security Operations & Support:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Palo Alto Networks security
- solutions.
- Support the day-to-day administration of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs).
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and system health dashboards.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies, NAT rules, and access control
- configurations.
- Perform routine firewall health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Support incident investigation and troubleshooting activities.
- Escalate complex security incidents and technical issues to senior engineers.
- Project Implementation
- Participate in firewall deployment, migration, and upgrade projects.
- Assist with firewall policy implementation and validation.
- Support testing and verification activities during project execution.
- Assist in documenting implementation procedures and outcomes.
- Monitor firewall events and security logs.
- Assist in identifying potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Support compliance audits and security reviews. Follow organizational security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of firewall configurations and changes.
- Prepare incident reports and operational documentation.
- Update network and security diagrams as required.
- Document troubleshooting activities and resolutions.
- Learning & Development
- Participate in cybersecurity and Palo Alto training programs.
- Develop knowledge of network security principles and technologies.
- Work towards achieving Palo Alto certifications and relevant industry credentials.
Required technical skill:
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of firewall concepts and network security.
- Understanding of access control and security policies.
- Familiarity with common cyber threats and attack vectors.

- Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Entry-Level Technician (PCCET)
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
- Cisco CCNA
