Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to standard recipes and menu specifications.
- Support the F&B Manager and Chef in executing planned menus, considering dietary needs and guest preferences.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
- Ensure proper portion control, presentation, and garnishing of all food served.
- Follow established food safety protocols and ensure compliance with sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any inconsistencies or issues promptly.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing food supplies and deliveries.
- Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Assist in implementing cleaning schedules and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Contribute to menu ideas by providing creative input and feedback on dishes.
- Support the training and onboarding of new kitchen staff as needed.
- Conduct visual and taste inspections of dishes before service to ensure quality and consistency.

- Efficient execution of food orders with minimal waste and within time standards.

Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2–5 years experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
- Proven experience preparing fresh meals in a fast-paced, cook-to-order kitchen setting.
Education/Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma in culinary arts or relevant training from a recognized hospitality or restaurant management institution.
- Equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting may be considered in place of formal education.
Personal Attributes:

- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
