Job Summary

We are looking to hire an experienced Cook to join our team.

  • Working Hours : Rotating Schedule

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to standard recipes and menu specifications.
  • Support the F&B Manager and Chef in executing planned menus, considering dietary needs and guest preferences.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Ensure proper portion control, presentation, and garnishing of all food served.
  • Follow established food safety protocols and ensure compliance with sanitation guidelines.
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any inconsistencies or issues promptly.
  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing food supplies and deliveries.
  • Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Assist in implementing cleaning schedules and maintaining kitchen equipment.
  • Contribute to menu ideas by providing creative input and feedback on dishes.
  • Support the training and onboarding of new kitchen staff as needed.
  • Conduct visual and taste inspections of dishes before service to ensure quality and consistency.

Key Deliverables:

  • Consistent delivery of fresh, flavorful, and well-presented meals.
  • High level of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
  • Efficient execution of food orders with minimal waste and within time standards.
  • Supportive teamwork and contribution to a positive kitchen environment.


Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
  • Proven experience preparing fresh meals in a fast-paced, cook-to-order kitchen setting.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Certificate or diploma in culinary arts or relevant training from a recognized hospitality or restaurant management institution.
  • Equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting may be considered in place of formal education.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong passion for cooking and food presentation.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Team player with a collaborative and flexible approach to work.
  • Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • A creative mindset and willingness to learn and adapt.
