Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ikeja for a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in budget management. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records, conducting reconciliations, ensuring compliance with legal financial regulations, and providing support during audits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to conduct reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools, as well as basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Sound understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• OND, HND, BSc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certification or progress toward certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a plus.
