Jetty Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the jetty, focusing on the rental and maintenance of three boats.
• Manage boat schedules, ensuring timely departures and arrivals, and coordinate with captains and staff to optimize efficiency.
• Handle boat reservations, bookings, and inquiries, providing excellent customer service to clients.
• Supervise and lead a team of staff, including boat captains and support personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Maintain and update boat maintenance records, ensuring all vessels are in optimal condition for safe operation.
• Collaborate with boat captains to plan and execute regular safety drills and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of the jetty and boats, addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
• Monitor fuel usage, manage refueling processes, and track expenses to optimize operational costs.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with boat suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in marine operations or boat management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to efficiently manage boat schedules and staff.
• Leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team of boat captains and support staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions and team coordination.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with boat maintenance procedures and scheduling.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
  
• Detail-oriented approach to record-keeping and maintenance documentation.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and operational requirements.
• Knowledge of local waters and navigation routes is a plus.
