Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and maintain IT equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Set up accounts for new users and manage access permissions and passwords.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Assist with IT-related projects and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for repairs and procurement.
- Provide user training and support on new systems and applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking (LAN/WAN), internet protocols, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of IT security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
