JOB TITLE: IT Specialist

Salary: 250,000 + HMO
Job Summary
The IT Specialist is responsible for the effective management of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and core systems. The role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations while providing technical support to users and supporting IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs).
Monitor network and system security and resolve performance issues.
Install, configure, and maintain servers and virtual environments.
Manage user accounts, permissions, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and operating systems.
Lead and support IT projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Maintain IT documentation and provide basic user training on systems and best practices.
Job Requirements & Specifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and server management.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and network security.
Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Strong troubleshooting and system administration skills.
Certifications (Advantage):
CompTIA Network+
Cisco CCNA
Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent.
