We are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Network Engineer to join our technical team in Abuja. The ideal candidate must have real practical field experience and be able to independently carry out network installations, structured cabling, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on installation and maintenance of LAN/WAN and structured cabling systems.
- Cable laying, termination, crimping, labelling, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Installation and configuration of routers, switches, access points, racks, patch panels, and other network equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
- Carry out professional cable management and equipment installation.
- Perform installations and troubleshooting at customer/project sites.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience in IT networking and structured cabling.
- Must be able to carry out network installations and troubleshooting physically.
- Good understanding of IP addressing and network configuration.
- Ability to use networking tools and test equipment.
- Relevant IT/networking certification is an advantage.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Added Advantage:
Hands-on experience with any of the following will be an advantage:
- IP CCTV cameras and NVR systems
- IP/PBX phone systems and VoIP
- Routers and managed switches
- VLANs and Wi-Fi networks
- Fibre-optic networking
- Firewalls and network security
