Job summary
As the Lead Technical Instructor (Cybersecurity & Networking), you are responsible for training engineers to design, harden, and defend enterprise perimeters. You must translate abstract security frameworks into technical execution using Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Checkpoint ecosystems, ensuring students can secure hybrid-cloud environments against sophisticated threats.

Responsibilities:
- Lead technical labs on Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) deployment, including SSL/TLS inspection, App-ID, and User-ID policy implementation.
- Instruct on Zero Trust and SASE frameworks, teaching students how to bridge legacy network security with cloud-native protection (e.g., Prisma Access, FortiSASE).
- Design and lead "Live Fire" simulations focusing on threat hunting, intrusion prevention (IPS), and automated malware sandboxing.
- Connectivity & SD-WAN: Educate on secure site-to-site connectivity, SD-WAN orchestration, and high-availability (HA) cluster configurations.
- Technical Lab Management: Build and maintain virtualized network topologies (using EVE-NG or GNS3) that simulate complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
Requirements:
- Experience with multi-vendor network security environments, including PAN-OS, FortiOS, and Gaia
- Strong knowledge of NAT/PAT, BGP, OSPF, VPN technologies, including IPsec and GlobalProtect, and Policy-Based Forwarding
- Experience with SOC operations and incident response processes
- Knowledge of log analysis using Panorama and FortiAnalyzer
- Experience with traffic forensics and XDR integration
- Ability to perform and teach real-time packet analysis using Wireshark to identify malicious payloads
- Experience securing cloud workloads across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform using virtual appliances
- Knowledge of Identity-Aware Proxy services
