Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for IT systems and processes.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of business needs and translate them into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop business process models and workflows to identify areas for process improvements and optimization.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to review and refine requirements, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
- Work closely with development and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective solutions.
- Perform feasibility studies and prepare project scoping and impact analysis documents.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by ensuring that systems meet business requirements.
Documentation:
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain essential documentation such as business requirements documents (BRD), system requirements specifications (SRS), functional design documents (FDD), and technical architecture diagrams.
- User Documentation: Develop user guides, training materials, and operational manuals for both technical and non-technical users.
- Proposals: Write comprehensive proposals for IT projects, addressing business needs, technical solutions, project timelines, and cost estimates. Ensure that proposals are clear, professional, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Letters and Memos: Draft professional letters, memos, and internal communications on behalf of the IT department to stakeholders, management, and other departments. This includes drafting communications for key project updates, IT initiatives, or policy changes.
- Reports: Prepare project status reports, progress updates, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders. Ensure that reports are timely and provide insights into project milestones, risks, and key decisions.
- Business Correspondence: Manage formal business correspondence related to project initiation, changes, and closure, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Process Documentation: Maintain project-related documentation, including timelines, workflows, and procedures, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for all team members.
Requirements:
- 3 years of cognate experience in a similar role
- Degree in a related field
