Ionic Developer

Role Description As an Ionic Developer, you will build, test, and maintain hybrid mobile applications using the Ionic framework and related technologies. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into user-friendly, performant, and secure applications. Daily tasks include writing clean, reusable code, integrating back-end services and APIs, debugging and resolving issues, and optimizing applications for various devices and platforms. You will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support continuous improvement of development practices. This is a contract, on-site role based in Lagos, requiring presence and collaboration with the local team.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design concepts.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with hands-on experience building mobile or web applications using modern frameworks (Ionic experience strongly preferred).
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, database integration, and server-side logic.
• Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work on-site in Lagos, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with mobile app deployment (Android/iOS), performance optimization, and testing frameworks is an advantage.
