Inventory Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Inventory Officer to manage and monitor stock effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Stock Management & Tracking: Monitor daily stock levels, record incoming and outgoing shipments, and update inventory management systems or ERP software.
- Receiving & Inspection: Inspect delivered goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices to verify quality and quantity.
- Audits & Reconciliations: Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies between system records and actual stock.
- Storage Optimization: Organize and label warehouse spaces using methods like FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to manage shelf-life, prevent damage, and handle slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Procurement Coordination: Work closely with the procurement and logistics teams to reorder stock, avoid stockouts, and manage vendor deliveries.
- Reporting: Prepare stock level, usage trend, and financial variance reports for management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory or stock management.
- Previous experience in a retail, pharmacy or FMCG environment is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of inventory control procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good record-keeping and organisational skills.
- Ability to identify stock discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
