Inventory Officer

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory for both cold rooms.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment and procurement planning.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement, usage, and variances.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper cold chain management to prevent spoilage and losses.
• Track product shelf life, expiry dates, and stock rotation (FIFO method).
• Work closely with operations, production, and sales teams to align stock with demand.
• Identify discrepancies and implement controls to reduce shrinkage and waste.
• Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
• Generate inventory reports and provide insights for decision-making.
• Supervise proper storage practices and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3–5 years experience in inventory/storekeeping (preferably FMCG, food, or butchery environment).
• Strong understanding of inventory control systems and stock management principles.
• Experience managing perishable goods or cold room operations is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory software.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stock categories.

Location: Jakande, Lekki, Lagos.

Remuneration: NGN 180,000 – 200,000

Work Mode: Full-Time.
