Job Summary

We seek to hire a suitable candidate for the role. The inventory officer executes clerical functions for the accounts, operations, sales and warehouse departments.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Executing the discharge of the vessel products
Ensuring the discharge location kept hygienic
Verification of the packing list
Accurate tally of products and packaging
Reporting on damaged goods & packaging quality
Record of shortages or excess
Preparation of waybills
Executing supply of sold goods to customers
Summary report on landing in excess
Monthly reports on the landing
Inspection of refrigerated trucks to confirm temperature and cleanliness
Assisting with the receipt of goods
Verification of waybills
Reporting of shortage, excess, damages to the warehouse supervisor
Verification of labelling on packaging
Accurate recordkeeping, data entry on the computer
Assisting with inventory counts
Other duties as assignment by management from time to time

Requirements:

A minimum of an HND in a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
Meticulous
Disciplined and detail-oriented
Good communicator

Working hours:

Are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 and Saturday from 08:00 to 12:00. (Based on operational requirements, this may vary).
Work is both outdoors and indoors; tallies can take up to 8 hours.

Necessary PPE is provided. The job requires to enter coldrooms frequently.
