Job summary
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure optimal inventory levels.

Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing daily inventory operations.
- Monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Conducting routine stock counts and periodic physical inventory audits.
- Investigating inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams for stock replenishment.
- Monitoring product movement and stock turnover.
- Preparing weekly and monthly inventory reports.
- Implementing inventory control policies and procedures.
- Managing product receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
- Ensuring proper documentation for inventory transactions.
- Optimizing warehouse space utilization.
- Forecasting inventory requirements based on sales trends.
- Reducing inventory losses caused by damage, theft, or expiry.
- Supporting management with inventory analysis and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles.
- Experience using inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Close attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in preparing inventory reports and forecasts.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Data analysis and reporting experience.
- Knowledge of procurement processes.
- Ability to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Monthly Salary of NGN 200,000
