International Verification Officer
Job summary
The International Verification Officer is responsible for verifying the accuracy and authenticity of applicants’ or clients’ documents, qualifications, professional certificates, and other records through international institutions and organizations. This position requires the candidate to be meticulous, organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:
- Verify qualifications, professional certificates, and other documents internationally.
- Contact universities, professional bodies, government agencies, and other relevant organizations to confirm information.
- Review documents and identify inconsistencies, missing information, or possible fraud.
- Conduct online and database research to support verification activities.
- Follow up on outstanding verification requests and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare clear and accurate verification reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of all verification activities.
- Escalate suspicious or complex cases to the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC work experience.
- Strong communication and research skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively with international organizations.
- Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms for research.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
