All applicant and agent activity is vetted to UKVI standards from the outset, ensuring compliance is embedded in every stage of the process. RTE Global also supports effective market entry through in-country hubs, HR and payroll solutions, TNE feasibility studies, and transparent regional operations.


Role Description The International Development Manager (Africa) is a full-time role based in Lagos Nigeria, with flexibility for some work from home. This role focuses on developing and managing recruitment strategies and partnerships across key African markets to support university enrollment objectives. Daily responsibilities include identifying and onboarding recruitment partners, coordinating agent activities, and monitoring performance against agreed targets. The role involves conducting market research, organizing and attending student recruitment events, and supporting conversion campaigns in collaboration with university stakeholders. The International Development Manager (Africa) will also help maintain compliance standards, prepare regular reports on market trends and recruitment outcomes, and work closely with colleagues across regions to ensure consistent, high-quality service to partner institutions.


Qualifications

  • Experience in international student recruitment or higher education business development, ideally with exposure to African markets.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills to work effectively with agents, university partners, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market analysis, develop growth strategies, and deliver against enrollment targets.
  • Awareness of international education compliance requirements (e.g., UKVI standards) and willingness to work within structured due diligence processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills relevant to African markets are an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as International Relations, Business, Marketing, or Education; a master’s degree is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, data reporting tools, and standard office software to track activities and report outcomes.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity, with a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
