Interior Designer

• Meet with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and budget.
• Develop creative interior design concepts, layouts, and space plans.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, 2D drawings, and 3D visualizations.
• Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, color schemes, and décor elements.
• Source materials and coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
• Prepare project estimates, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design specifications are followed.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers during project execution.
• Resolve design or construction challenges and make necessary adjustments.
• Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, color theory, furniture design, and material selection.
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good budgeting, negotiation, and project coordination skills.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
