Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Generate and grow insurance business portfolios across corporate and retail markets.
- Develop strategic partnerships with businesses, HNIs, hospitality brands, property owners, investors, and corporate organizations.
- Advise clients on suitable insurance products, including life, health, property, travel, hospitality, asset protection, and investment-related insurance solutions.
- Design and structure insurance packages tailored to hospitality businesses, real estate investments, and corporate clients.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities between the company’s insurance, hospitality, and investment services.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, insurers, underwriters, and strategic partners.
- Negotiate favorable insurance terms, premiums, and coverage with underwriting companies.
- Manage policy renewals, claims processes, risk assessments, and client servicing activities.
- Drive revenue growth through aggressive but professional business acquisition strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities within the insurance and investment sectors.
- Prepare business proposals, client presentations, and periodic performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Insurance Brokerage, Insurance Sales, or Business Development.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Existing networks of corporate clients, HNIs, or business leads are highly preferred.
- Professional certification, such as CIIN or other relevant qualifications, is an added advantage.
- Experience working with hospitality, real estate, investment, or luxury service clients will be an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and contribute to business growth strategies.

Location: Maitama
Remuneration: NGN 350,000 - 500,000
