Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Institutional Sales Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and managing relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, insurance companies, and other corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and client management within the asset management or financial services industry, with a deep understanding of investment products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, foundations, insurance companies, and endowments.
Drive new business development through effective lead generation, outreach, and networking.
Promote and sell a range of asset management products and services tailored to the needs of institutional clients.
Provide tailored investment solutions and advice to clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their objectives and needs.
Collaborate with the investment management team to deliver on client expectations and goals.
Stay up to date on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed insights to clients.
Prepare and deliver client presentations, investment reports, and marketing materials.
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in institutional sales, business development, or relationship management in the asset management or financial services industry post NYSC.
Strong knowledge of investment products (equities, fixed income, alternatives, etc.) and the financial markets.
Proven ability to engage with C-suite executives, institutional investors, and decision-makers.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
