Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-line support across enterprise systems and infrastructure.
- Monitor availability, alerts, capacity, hardware health and backup completion; perform scheduled health checks.
- Troubleshoot Windows, Linux, virtualisation, network and connectivity issues; escalate specialist faults promptly.
- Support wireless, voice, CCTV and display systems and monitor relevant power-system alerts.
- Apply approved patches and changes; maintain asset, configuration, maintenance and incident records.
- Perform backup verification, restore and failover tests; coordinate vendor support, warranties and spares.\
- Prepare incident reports, root-cause findings and service reports; participate in agreed support coverage.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of enterprise infrastructure support experience.
- Practical Windows, Linux, virtualisation, networking and backup skills.
- Working knowledge of firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, CCTV/NVR systems and UPS monitoring.
- Experience with monitoring platforms, ticketing systems and controlled remote administration.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, escalation and user communication skills.
