Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Introduce and promote our products to supermarket customers
- Explain product benefits, uses and prices
- Encourage product trials and convert enquiries into sales
- Conduct product sampling and promotional activities
- Keep shelves properly arranged, clean, visible and fully stocked
- Monitor stock levels and promptly report low stock
- Check product expiry dates and maintain proper stock rotation
- Collect customer feedback and report competitor activities
- Meet assigned daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
- Submit accurate sales and stock reports
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of SSCE higher qualification is an advantage
- Previous experience in retail sales, supermarket promotion, merchandising or customer service is preferred
- Good communication and persuasive selling skills
- Must be confident, well-groomed and approachable
- Ability to explain product features and benefits clearly
- Must be honest, punctual, energetic and target-driven
- Applicant may live anywhere in Lagos but should be willing to work at an assigned supermarket location
- Previous employment or referees must be verifiable
- Age: 18–35 years
Remuneration: Competitive monthly salary plus performance-based incentives.
