ICT Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Information and Communication Technology (ICT) lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
• Teach students basic and advanced computer skills, including computer operations and software applications.
• Introduce students to Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Teach basic programming, coding, internet usage, and digital literacy where applicable.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and practical exercises.
• Organise practical computer sessions to improve students' technical skills.
• Assess students' understanding through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Teach students about internet safety, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible technology use.
• Maintain and manage computer laboratory equipment and learning resources.
• Ensure computers and other ICT equipment are properly maintained and used appropriately.
• Support students who require additional assistance with ICT-related topics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role
• Valid teaching certification/license/PGDE
• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies
• Knowledge of Digital tools
