Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding Support:
- Post job ads on LinkedIn, Jobberman, company website
- Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on job criteria
- Schedule interviews and send calendar invites
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and new-hire paperwork
- Help with orientation: set up workstations, ID cards, welcome packs
Employee Records & Admin:
- Update employee database/HRIS with new hires, exits, and leave days
- Maintain physical and digital personnel files
- Track attendance, leave requests, and sick days
- Draft HR letters: confirmation, promotion, query, warning
Learning & Engagement:
- Coordinate training sessions: book venues, send invites, track attendance
- Help run employee engagement activities: birthday shout-outs, team events, CSR days
- Assist with performance review cycles — send forms, chase deadlines
HR Projects and Compliance:
- Research HR policies, labor laws, or salary benchmarks
- Help with audits — NSSF, PAYE, pension, NHF documentation
- Support payroll by collating timesheets, overtime, and deductions
Requirements:
- Software: Excel, Google Workspace, HRIS like BambooHR, SAP, or Zoho People
- Confidentiality, communication, organization, and attention to detail
- HR knowledge: Nigerian Labour Act basics, recruitment process, onboarding flow
