Human Resources and Compliance Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a results-driven Human Resources & Compliance Manager to oversee our complete HR lifecycle, drive regulatory compliance, manage blue-collar workforce operations, and optimize our professional driver recruitment and deployment pipeline.

Responsibilities:
Strategic HR & Workforce Management:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for internal staff and DCLS’s outsourced professional driver roster.
- Oversee the complete deployment workflow—ensuring drivers are seamlessly matched and deployed to corporate and private client locations based on proximity, skill, and vehicle requirements.
- Develop retention, engagement, and welfare initiatives tailored specifically to a high-volume, blue-collar driver workforce.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
- Maintain strict adherence to local labor laws, state transport regulations, and statutory compliance (including LASDRI, LASRRA, and state driving license validity).
- Manage the complete driver verification framework: conduct rigorous background checks, double-guarantor verifications, residential physical address checks, and psychometric screening.
- Conduct regular audits on driver documentation, fleet insurance records, and compliance files to eliminate liability risks.
Employee Relations & Performance Management:
- Establish and enforce disciplinary frameworks, code-of-conduct guidelines, and service quality standards across all deployed staff.
- Act as the primary escalation point for client feedback, driver grievances, and workplace conflict resolution.
- Design and track KPIs for driver performance, punctuality, client satisfaction, and safety adherence.
Training, Onboarding & Development:
- Structured and deliver comprehensive onboarding orientations covering customer service, route management, executive etiquette, and defensive driving techniques.
- Coordinate routine refresher training, safety workshops, and compliance renewals for existing drivers.
HR Operations & Administrative Oversight:
- Support payroll processing by maintaining accurate, up-to-date deployment rosters, attendance logs, and billable service data.
- Manage HR documentation, digital employee databases, disciplinary history, and leave schedules.
- Collaborate closely with operations and logistics teams to handle incident response and vehicle/driver emergency protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of a BSC
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
