Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department in daily administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring Support
  • Post job vacancies on relevant platforms and assist in sourcing candidates.
  • Screen applications and schedule interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.



Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documents.
  • Coordinate employee orientation and maintain new hire documentation.
  • Support exit processes, ensuring proper clearance and documentation.



Employee Records & Administration
  • Maintain and update employee files and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR reports such as attendance, leave summaries, and payroll support data.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all employee information.


Payroll & Benefits Assistance
  • Collect and verify attendance, overtime, and leave data for payroll.
  • Assist employees with questions regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Support the administration of staff benefits.

Employee Relations & Support
  • Handle day-to-day HR inquiries from employees.
  • Support HR in organizing staff events, trainings, and engagement activities.
  • Assist with enforcing company policies and procedures.



Compliance & Policy Support
  • Help ensure HR operations comply with labor laws and company standards.
  • Assist with documentation for audits and HR projects.
  • Draft HR letters, memos, and reports as needed.



Requirements:
  • OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Candidate must reside within Ojo or Surulere and its environment.
