HR Supervisor
Job summary
The HR Supervisor will oversee the school’s human resources operations, ensuring effective workforce management, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and a positive workplace culture. The role will support the school in attracting, developing, and retaining competent teaching and non-teaching staff while ensuring adherence to school policies and applicable employment regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
- Coordinate staff attendance, leave, payroll inputs, benefits, and welfare activities.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and staff guidelines.
- Coordinate performance management, appraisals, probation reviews, and staff development.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution professionally.
- Monitor staff compliance with school policies, code of conduct, and professional standards.
- Support workforce planning and ensure appropriate staffing levels across teaching and non-teaching functions.
- Coordinate staff training, orientation, induction, and continuous professional development.
- Promote employee engagement, teamwork, accountability, and a positive school culture.
- Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management updates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian employment laws and relevant education-sector requirements.
- Work closely with school leadership to address people-related issues and improve organizational effectiveness.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a school, education, or structured organization.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
- Experience managing both teaching and non-teaching staff will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information/record management systems.
- Must be based in or willing to work in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Remuneration: NGN 700,000 Monthly
