Job summary
The HR Officer (Performance Management Specialist) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a robust, data-driven performance management system. The role focuses on setting measurable targets, developing scorecards, tracking performance outcomes, and ensuring alignment between individual, departmental, and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:
Performance Management Framework:
- Design and manage end-to-end performance management systems and cycles.
- Develop SMART KPIs, OKRs, and balanced scorecards across roles and departments.
- Translate organizational strategy into measurable staff performance targets.
- Establish performance measurement standards and evaluation criteria.
Target Setting & Monitoring:
- Work with leadership and line managers to set annual and periodic performance targets.
- Monitor performance progress and provide data-driven insights.
- Maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and analytics.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Appraisal & Review Process:
- Coordinate mid-year and annual performance reviews.
- Ensure objective, consistent, and documented appraisal outcomes.
- Train managers and employees on performance management tools and methodologies.
- Support performance-linked rewards, promotions, and improvement plans.
Continuous Improvement:
- Review and refine performance tools, metrics, and processes.
- Benchmark performance practices against industry standards.
- Provide management with analytical reports on productivity and performance trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Performance Management Specialist.
- Formal training and certifications in Performance Management.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills.
- Advanced Excel and HRIS experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
