HR Officer
Job summary
We are looking to hire a results-driven HR Officer / HR Generalist with strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will help strengthen the company’s people processes, improve workplace culture, and ensure HR compliance while supporting the growth of a fast-moving team
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Handle employee relations issues professionally and confidentially
- Coordinate performance management processes and employee evaluations
- Manage staff documentation, HR records, and HR reporting
- Support payroll processes (attendance, leave, deductions) in collaboration with finance
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture improvements
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR standards
- Organize staff training, learning programs, and development plans
- Support disciplinary processes and conflict resolution when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience
- Proven experience in recruitment and performance management
- Strong communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law and HR best practices ATS HR Tools
