Job summary
Our client, a diversified group with operations across financial services and hospitality, is hiring an HR Manager to lead the full HR function across multiple business units. This is a generalist role with heavy payroll ownership, you will run it end-to-end, not supervise it.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-end monthly payroll processing and reconciliation across multiple entities
- Statutory compliance — PAYE, pension, HMO, NSITF, ITF
- Full employee lifecycle — recruitment support, onboarding, confirmation, performance, exit
- HR policy development, handbook maintenance, and compliance with Nigerian labour law
- Employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes
- HR reporting and workforce analytics for leadership
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years progressive HR generalist experience — most recent role must be generalist or HR Manager
- CIPM or PHRi certification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven hands-on payroll management — you have personally run payroll, not just overseen it
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labour law and statutory processes — PAYE, pension, HMO, NSITF, ITF
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple business units or entities
- Candidates must be Lagos-based or willing to relocate at their own cost.
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 – 400,000 monthly net, plus statutory benefits.
