Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled professionals.
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.


Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Address employee grievances and mediate conflicts.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.


Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
  • Conduct training sessions on performance management best practices.


Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and industry-specific regulations.
  • Update and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies.


Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
  • Coordinate open enrollment and benefits communication.


HR Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze data to support decision-making.
  • Utilize HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to manage employee information.


Requirements:

  • HND/Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
