HR Manager
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join our team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in human resources management within the financial services industry, particularly banking or microfinance banking, and possess the ability to drive people operations, employee engagement, compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the bank’s overall business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes for various departments.
- Manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, banking regulations, and internal HR policies.
- Coordinate performance management processes, appraisals, and employee development plans.
- Design and implement training and development programs to improve employee productivity and retention.
- Handle payroll coordination, compensation, benefits administration, and leave management.
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee records, and documentation.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Advise management on organizational structure, workforce planning, and HR best practices.
- Monitor disciplinary procedures and ensure fair implementation of company policies.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics to support management decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Manager role.
- Must have prior experience working in the banking or microfinance banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, etc.) is an added advantage
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 400,000 – 500,000 Monthly
