We are recruiting an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee all human resource functions within a growing organization. The ideal candidate is a mature, highly skilled HR professional with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes.
  • Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, leave administration, and staff welfare.
  • Drive employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives.
  • Provide strategic HR support to management and department heads.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years' HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must reside in Port Harcourt
