Job summary

The Legal HR Officer ensures that the organization’s employment practices, policies, contracts, and disciplinary procedures comply with applicable labor laws and regulatory standards. The role serves as a bridge between Human Resources and legal governance

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all HR policies comply with labor and employment laws.
  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and disciplinary documents.
  • Advise management on labor law implications of HR decisions.
  • Oversee legally compliant disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure due process in terminations, suspensions, and warnings.
  • Manage employee grievance resolution procedures.
  • Handle pre-litigation employment disputes.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel where required.
  • Mitigate legal exposure in HR-related matters.
  • Maintain legally compliant HR documentation standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper records management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum BSC
  • 4 years of previous experience in a similar role
