Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Facilitates pre-recruitment meetings to get an understanding of the client and the client’s recruitment needs.
- Identifies suitable selection tools for different positions and job levels.
- Reviews shortlisted CVs, conducts initial candidate screenings, and assesses qualifications against job requirements.
- Conducts interviews and evaluates candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit against the client’s requirements.
- Manages communication with clients, provides updates on the recruitment process, and attends to feedback or concerns expressed by the client.
- Manages project timelines and team deliverables.
- Verifies candidate credentials and conducts reference checks to ensure the accuracy of the information and assess suitability for the role.
- Reviews and approves pre-engagement documents and assessment reports and shares with the client.
- Schedules interviews between the client and recommended candidates and shares relevant details with both parties.
- Learning and Development
- Liaises with the client to get an understanding of their training needs and program requirements.
- Designs effective training programs and curricula tailored to the specific needs and goals of the client.
- Creates engaging and relevant training materials such as presentation slides and workbooks to ensure effective delivery of training program.
- Facilitates training sessions, workshops, and seminars through physical or virtual platforms.
- Implements post-training assessments to collate feedback on training program.
- Reviews training reports and analyzes post-training feedback and sends to the client.
- Stays informed about industry trends, evaluates the success of training initiatives and recommends adjustments for continuous improvement.
HR Strategy and Organizational Design
- Facilitates pre-engagement meetings with clients to get an understanding of their project needs.
- Reviews pre-engagement documents and project plan and send to the client to activate project launch.
- Develops project plan, identifies human resource required for implementation and assigns tasks.
- Provides strategic direction for project and outsourcing.
- Reviews internal HR system and processes, identifies gap areas, and makes recommendations in line with legal and industry considerations.
- Develops and implements human resources strategies that support overall business strategy.
- Reviews templates and forms, and designs processes in line with recommendations and communicates accordingly.
- Ensures project timelines are adhered to and project deliverables are achieved.
- Reviews final project report and sends to the client.
- Reviews and sends final project report at the end of outsourcing relationship covering the scope of work done and milestones achieved.
- Facilitates pre-engagement meeting with client to gain an understanding of their outsourcing needs.
- Reviews and sends engagement documents to the client, outlining scope of project and terms of engagement.
- Provides advisory and implements approved recommendations relating to employees’ welfare and HR processes according to the outsourcing type and scope of project.
- Monitors and manages the delivery of outsourced services to ensure they meet the standards and contractual obligations outlined in the engagement contract.
- Addresses and resolves any challenges or issues that may arise relating to employee and client management.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with clients, vendors, statutory agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Sits in on interviews to identify suitable candidates for vacant positions.
- Reviews staff payroll, benefits, and compensation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field from a reputable and accredited University.
- 3 - 5 years of post-NYSC experience in HR consulting.
- Certification in CIPM, CIPD, or other related certifications.
- A master's degree is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in client management, leading projects, managing timelines, and delivering results within deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficient in the use of HR applications (Indeed, Zoho recruits, LinkedIn, HRIS software, or ATS)
- Proficient in the use of collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong knowledge of HR concepts, principles, and laws.
