Job summary
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized HR Business Partner – Outsourcing to join our growing consulting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end HR function for multiple client accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services while maintaining compliance.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned client accounts, providing timely and professional HR support.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, performance management, and exit processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is complete, up-to-date, and compliant.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, leave administration, attendance management, and employee data for assigned clients.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, statutory requirements, and client-specific HR policies.
- Prepare HR reports, employment letters, contracts, disciplinary documentation, and other employee-related correspondence.
- Support employee relations by guiding on performance, disciplinary, grievance, and workplace issues.
- Assist clients in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct HR audits and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Support recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and onboarding.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide proactive HR advisory support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of HR consulting and outsourcing services.
- Stay up to date with changes in employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR consulting, outsourcing, or multi-client environment.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and statutory HR compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end HR operations for multiple business units or clients.
- Experience handling employee relations, disciplinary processes, performance management, and HR documentation.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
- Close attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); experience using HRIS platforms is an added advantage.
- Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent will be an added advantage
