HR Assistant / Compliance Officer
Job summary
We are a fast-growing company engaged in the importation and distribution of IT gadgets and accessories, with a workforce of over 90 employees. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR assistant/compliance officer to support our HR operations and ensure staff and company compliance with policies and regulations.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.
- Maintain accurate staff records, files, and HR databases.
- Track staff attendance, leave, and disciplinary records.
- Assist with payroll preparation by providing HR data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labour regulations.
- Monitor staff punctuality, conduct, and adherence to procedures.
- Support internal audits, investigations, and compliance reporting.
- Prepare HR and compliance reports for management.
Requirements:
- BSc in HR, business administration, law, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, admin, or compliance.
- Knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR practices.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Good communication and administration skills
