Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
- Draft and publish job advertisements.
- Screen applications and shortlist candidates.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate assessments.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Prepare employment offers and onboarding documentation.
- Maintain recruitment records and reports.
Employee Onboarding and Confirmation:
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programmes.
- Ensure completion of employment documentation.
- Monitor probation periods and coordinate confirmation processes.
- Maintain employee personnel files and records.
Performance Management:
- Coordinate performance appraisal exercises.
- Track performance review schedules and compliance.
- Support managers in implementing performance improvement plans.
- Compile performance management reports.
Learning and Development:
- Identify training needs through consultation with department heads.
- Coordinate internal and external training programmes.
- Maintain employee training records.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare reports.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries.
- Assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Support investigations into employee misconduct where required.
- Promote employee engagement and workplace harmony.
HR Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with the Employee Handbook and HR policies.
- Support periodic review and update of HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with labour laws and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with HR audits and regulatory examinations.
HR Records and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Generate monthly HR metrics and management reports.
- Track employee turnover, absenteeism, leave utilization, and headcount.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Assist in payroll preparation and validation.
- Administer employee benefits and welfare programmes.
- Maintain records relating to salaries, allowances, and statutory deductions.
- Support annual salary review exercises.
Leave Administration:
- Process employee leave applications.
- Maintain leave schedules and leave balances.
- Monitor employee leave utilization and compliance.
- Prepare leave reports for management.
Office Administration:
- Manage day-to-day office administrative activities.
- Ensure adequate office supplies and equipment are available.
- Coordinate maintenance of office facilities and assets.
- Supervise office support staff and service providers.
Facilities and Asset Management:
- Maintain the bank's asset register.
- Monitor asset allocation and movement.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
- Ensure proper utilization and safeguarding of bank assets.
Documentation and Records Management:
- Maintain administrative records and filing systems.
- Ensure proper archiving of documents.
- Support document control and retrieval processes.
Health, Safety and Security:
- Assist in implementing workplace health and safety standards.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities.
- Report and document workplace incidents.
- Ensure compliance with security procedures.
Event and Meeting Coordination:
- Coordinate staff meetings, training sessions, and corporate events.
- Prepare logistics and administrative arrangements.
- Maintain records of meetings where required.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management activities.
Requirements:
- HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant experience in human resources and administration.
- Associate or professional membership of CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or other recognised HR professional bodies is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Remuneration: NGN3.6 Million – 4.5 Million Per Annum
