Job summary

Are you a passionate HR professional with hands-on experience in the hospitality industry? We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and people-focused HR / Admin Officer to manage and support the full spectrum of human resources and administrative operations in our hotel.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviews, onboarding, and documentation.
  • Coordinate staff confirmations, promotions disciplinary processes, and exits.
  • Assist with payroll inputs, attendance tracking, shift roasters, and leave administration.
  • Maintain employee records, HR reports, documentation, and HRIS updates.
  • Handle employee relations issues. Drive employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Oversee staff welfare, accommodation, uniforms, and general administration.
  • Support performance management and appraisal.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors, including outsourcing firms, background checks, HMOs, and uniform providers.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and company policies.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • 4–6 years’ HR experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, PHRi/SPHRi) is an added advantage.
